ITS ALWAYS FOOTY SEASON AT ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS!Are you impatiently awaiting the start of the junior footy season??? At ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS you can start your pre-season training early and get a jump on your opponents! We are extremely excited to announce that this year we will be launching footy coaching sessions in a brand new area of Australia - Wagga Wagga, NSW! A special introductory price of $100 for a modified 8 week first term, which includes an exclusive ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS training jumper, will apply for the first coaching term of 2008 for Wagga Wagga participants. Wagga Wagga coaching sessions will be held at Apex Park, Lake Albert on Monday's and Fridays between 4-6pm. The first coaching sessions will be held the week of February 11. We are hoping to have groups that cater for all age groups from u10-u18 and numbers will determine actual group times and day. Other days, times and venues will be considered if, or as, required!
We will also continue to offer several coaching groups in the Werribee area for our long-serving and loyal coaching customers! Werribee footy coaching sessions will be held at Galvin Park, Shaws Rd on Monday's 4.30-5.30pm (approx 9-13yr olds) starting Feb 4 and Friday's 4.45-5.45pm (13yrs+) starting the week of February 1st. We are also looking at possibly starting a Wednesday afternoon group if that suits better? Click here to book now or ask us a question! Players can join ANY TIME during our footy coaching terms, by negotiation! Have you ever wondered why there is no individual or small group coaching available for junior footballers?Sports like tennis, swimming, basketball and athletics already provide this sort of coaching with outstanding results, why not footy? Well, we've wondered the same thing. That's why ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS launched a specialised junior footy coaching service in 2005. ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS has been established to provide junior players with the sort of individual attention required to help them reach their full potential as footballers. Targetting children aged between 8 and 14 years of age, this innovative coaching initiative has come about due to an observed gap in the development pathways of junior players. There is currently no elite coaching system in place between the fundamental basics developed through the AFL Auskick program, and involvement in the TAC Cup development squads at under-16 age level. At ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS we want to bridge this gap. ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS provide a one-hour footy coaching session each week for the corresponding weeks of the school term, usually 10 weeks in length. The program structure is similar to a traditional swim or tennis lesson term. The first program of 2005 will be a shortened program, starting midway through Term One of the school year. Aspiring footballers currently don't have access to this level of individual and small group footy coaching, but we want to offer it to you! At ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS we believe young and developing footballers will benefit significantly from lower coach-to-players ratios (we will work on a maximum of one coach to every five players), and from specific addressing of individual player deficiencies and needs. AFL clubs provide specialist coaches for all aspects of the game, including kicking coaches, ruck coaches and fitness coaches. ELITE FOOTY SCHOOLS want to give junior footballers access to that same sort of footy coaching structure.
